When we originally launched splityourticket back on the 23rd April 2007 we had no idea of the impact it would have in helping people to save money on their train fares. We knew we would need to keep up with the needs and requirements of our customers and, as a result of all the feedback we have received to date the site is now being relaunched following an extensive upgrade. We have chosen today as the 23rd January 2012 marks the start of the new Chinese year of the Dragon. The Chinese believe that the year of the Dragon brings good fortune and prosperity and we hope that the changes we have made will bring you all good fortune and help you to make more savings this year.

It has taken a long time to develop this upgrade, which has meant moving over to an entirely new administrative structure behind the scenes. This new structure will allow us to act and respond more quickly to your requests and should provide clearer information. We have also introduced this blog as a means of passing on information quickly to a wider audience, so watch this space for regular features.
